The arrival of World Mini Mini Football (WMMF) in India marked an important milestone in the organization’s international development. The first official activities introduced athletes, referees, coaches, and sports enthusiasts to a new, fast-paced version of football designed to be exciting, accessible, and easy to play almost anywhere.
The visit featured two key activities: a live demonstration event and a referee education seminar, both of which generated considerable enthusiasm among participants.
Demonstration Event Showcases the Speed of the Game
The highlight of the visit was a live demonstration match, where local athletes experienced World Mini Mini Football for the very first time.
Played on WMMF’s compact court with three players on each team, the game immediately showcased its defining characteristics—continuous action, rapid transitions, quick decision-making, and high levels of player involvement. Every player was constantly engaged, creating an energetic atmosphere that kept both participants and spectators focused from start to finish.
Although many athletes were unfamiliar with the format before the event, they adapted quickly and embraced the unique style of play.

Following the demonstration, athletes shared overwhelmingly positive impressions of the sport.

As part of the visit, WMMF also conducted its first referee seminar in India.
The seminar introduced participants to the philosophy of World Mini Mini Football, the structure of the Laws of the Game, the responsibilities of match officials, game management, player safety, positioning, signals, and practical decision-making during matches.
The interactive sessions encouraged discussion and allowed participants to ask questions about the unique aspects of officiating in WMMF.
Excellent Response from Referees
The referee seminar received an enthusiastic response from attendees.
Participants appreciated the clarity of the rules and the logical structure of the officiating system. Many noted that the game’s fast pace requires referees to remain highly focused while applying the Laws consistently and fairly.
Several attendees expressed interest in becoming certified WMMF referees and supporting the future development of the sport in India.
